UrchinSkipper
Summer 2002 and it's off to Oban again for another Mike Wilson dive trip. Again we book the Urchin for comfortable day boat diving in the Sound of Mull but this time we choose to stay in the Puffin Divers cottages - a great success and scene of many dinners in the open air watching the sun go down at 11pm!

Moon holeGearing upA popular feature of the Urchin is the moon hole on the rear deck. With water jet engines instead of props the skipper can drive over you when he comes to pick up up and you can then ascend the ladder straight onto the deck.

Once you have your kit off the cabin provides warm, comfortable space to relax, read, sleep and tuck into that continual supply of hot drinks and biscuits.
Becky and ScottBecky and JohnNow Becky announced her engagement on this trip but the question is: who to?
RondoMonster ribThe Mull wreck dives are fantastic - the Braer, Hispania, Meldon, Thesis, to name a few. The Rondo is a particular favourite set against a steep wall. choose your depth from the stern at 8 metres to the bows at 48 - you can just about get 50 on the computer inside the bows in the sand.

Scenic dives are good too with impressive granite walls encrusted in plumose anenomes and starfish.

If the Urchin is too steady for you how about this for a rib? Puffin divers have two of these and will get you out to the site in no time at all.
