Here we are again in our 5th or 6th KIMM. This time joined by Steve and Mark - KIMM tyros modelling their new gear (right) before setting off ahead of us. We are in the Brecon Beacons with 3500 other lunatics ready for 2 days of hill climbing, bogs and rivers.
	We park in a quarry which turns out to be right by the start. A set of teams go off every minute, moving up through the tapes and receiving maps before setting off up the inevitable hill.
