Caribbean Easter 04

Villa Petrus22m poolVilla Petrus, our friends Sabine and Garry's house in Tobago is a fantastic base for a holiday. In fact, as the Fergusons discover, you don't even have to leave base to have a great time. With great views of the island, a fab 22m pool and all mod cons it is perfect.
Villa Petrus sitting roomVilla Petrus verandaWhether you are inside or out there is plenty of room to spread out, so even with a full house of 14 you do not feel on top of one another. Even with the kids running poker sessions in the sitting room and Nick's yoga class outside the 'grown ups' still could relax with their G&Ts.
Patrick, Johny and TommyLouise, Heather and AnnaThe kids are soon adapted to the lotus eating life style. Although the boys are supposed to be studying for GCSEs, Patrick, Tommy and Johny are more interested in bleaching their hair and drinking beer. Meanwhile Louise and Anna work on tans and entertain the Jones.
Breakfast Sundowners at Black RockWe soon settle into a comfortable routine. With breakfast of fruit (and bacon and pancakes if you are lucky) and sunset drinks at the Ocean View rum shop the days fill up very easily. Some of us go for dives in the morning and many lunches are spent at the Grafton Beach bar after some great body surfing has worked up an appetite.

We drink the Ocean View out of rum punches while spotting dolphins as the sun goes down.
This is Dick and Roma's first time in Tobago. After many New Years in St Lucia I think that they are impressed by another island.
