Home Travel Diving Running		Monday 30 July 2001 11 intrepid PRN explorers set off for a day of jungle exploration. Notably high percentage of Brits on this excursion - either all those Americans have seen it all before of they are catching up on massages and cocktails. In the care of our trusty guide we are soon bumping along dirt roads ducking for passing branches. Once on foot we learn about termites, Orchids, birds and other wildlife. The highlight is the sight of what looked liked black fungus growing on a bank turning into a mass of daddy longlegs crawling over our guide's T-shirt. The beers waiting for us at the end of the walk were welcome after the heat. Next stop was a great beach with massive waves - "please swim between the two red flags"! Again the Brits excelled in swimming out through the 6 foot breakers before returning much refreshed to luxury at Punta Mita again. Next trip was a ride to the Southern end of the bay on one of Vallarta Adventure's party boats. With calm seas we had a gentle ride down there. Coming back the crew decided to liven things up with a special Mexican floor show. Meanwhile Russell and Helen look like the perfect relaxed travellers.
