Cattells and Poolers hit the Caribbean
For the first time John, Hilly, Ross, Vicky, Tom, Tommy, Louise, Katie and Charlotte go on holiday to the Caribbean. The Cattells act as tour guides and we decide on St Lucia for its amazing combination of beaches, mountains and friendly people. After four nights staying in beautiful Anse Chastenet we all meet up in a villa, Kinnoull, on the Cap Estate.

View from Kinnoull

View of KinnoullThe view from the Kinnoull balcony is fantastic looking down over Rodney Bay, Pigeon Island and as far as the Pitons on a clear day.

Kinnoull poolThe Villa is pearched high on the hill in the Cap Estate. Split into two halfs it was a perfect layout for two families and the pool provided hours of entertainment for games of Marco Polo.

The fun bit was getting "Super Suzuki" up the drive.
Charlie fashion modelJP and Hilary
Fashion model Charlie (you read about her here first) poses on the balcony which also proves the perfect venue for entertaining. JP, Heather, Reed, Spencer and Marilyn all come and visit us from Barbados while we are here. JP has no problem catching up with Hilary who he has not seen for 20 years!
John and MarilynHilary in pensive moodWe like these Barbados visitors especially when they arrive bearing bottles of Champagne.

Marilyn proves a great hit with the Poolers and even manages a night on the sofa without complaining.
Smugglers CoveJohn, Ross and Marilyn all work off that wine and Piton Beer with runs to the coast and back and when the kids tire of the pool we have the fantastic Smugglers' Cove beach at the bottom of the hill. Great swimming and beautiful coral and fishes to see when snorkelling.
