Rasta LouiseBike boysLouise tries to blend in with the locals although we do not see too many Bob Marley lookalikes on the Windjammer complex. I am told that the whole of North London is full of these hats however it would cause quite a stir at North London Collegiate School for nice young ladies.

You don't see many custom bikes on the island but this pair clearly know how to get about in style.
Roma starts the dayVicky and RomaRoma likes to start the day at breakfast by laying down the law... and that's not just for Patrick.

But by the time we get out on Thomas' boat she and Vicky are really looking relaxed and soaking up the rays.
Boys at BangLouise and friendThomas drops us at Jalousie Plantation landing which is bang between the Pitons so that is where we go for lunch. This is made more entertaining by Patrick Tenant regaling us on the misfortunes of Princess Margaret and his dog taking to Louise and Patrick.

The simple Caribbean cooking is some of the best that we had on the island. A great New Year's day and a super start to 2001.
Dick and RomaSt Lucia sunsetOur guides, D & R are making the most of the boat ride back after dropping in to Anse Chastenet for a snorkel and general snoop around. Great place to get away from it all and an impressive dive shop although the prices look a bit steep for a family holiday.
So farewell St Lucia - we had a great time and we will be back...
